Summary: Under general supervision, serves as the primary contact and liaison between Telerx Client Services, Merck departments and cross functional teams, and external Vendors; develops and executes project plans, ensuring that all client and stakeholder objectives are met. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Interviews client and other stakeholders to determine all project requirements

 

  • Develops Requests for Proposals and presents to client as required

 

  • Manages project scope and change requests, assessing impact to project budget and timeline

 

  • Identifies and coordinates joint milestones and deliverables due from the internal and external partners and ensures these are received in a timely manner per the project plan

 

  • Maintains client communications and serve as the primary contact for designated Merck clients and other business partners in communications relating to the project

 

  • Provides business consultation to Merck cross functional team members and external vendors on all project related issues and decisions

 

  • Designs, develops and executes initiatives for innovative customer solutions

 

  • Leverages experience and knowledge gained from previous projects and product launches to provide business consultation to various internal and external partners

 

  • Manages ongoing work against project plans, calculates and reports on rate; estimates to actual and other key project metrics including but not limited to project status; data feeds; production and application development

 

  • Serves as subject matter expert for all assign department roles and project related initiatives

 

  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external partners.

 

  • Designs, develops, and generates custom reports for internal and external distribution.  Ensure that data is accurate and that format is compatible with client needs

 

  • Completes required systems training and certifications such as SAP, MLS, Policy, and PI.
  • Attends conferences and other business-related functions in order to promote the image and objectives of the organization. 

 

  • Coordinates weekly client status meetings (Prepares agenda and complete minutes)

 

  • Manages and participates in 3rd party vendor meetings as required

 

  • Develops and maintains project SOPs; Process Flows and Business Rules

 

  • Manages all client and vendor email and phone communications in a timely and proactive manner

Education and/or Experience:  Minimum of a Bachelor Degree –required from four year college or university, preferably in Business with two to four years prior related experience and or training. 

                                                                                                                    

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs) or other job aids.  Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively and informatively.  Ability to immediately respond to questions from customers and internal partners.

 

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only minimal or limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.                 

 

Computer Skills:                   Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio
